When your child comes home with head lice you will need to remove all the lice and the lice eggs commonly known as nits. To remove the head lice you will need a lice shampoo. The nits require a special lice comb because the lice "superglue" their eggs onto the hair shaft. Lice shampoo will not get rid of the nit problem.
